The Huawei MERC-1300W-P SC module optimizer is a smart add-on to Huawei's Smart PV system that allows you to maximize the performance of your solar PV system at the module level. The device significantly increases the energy production of the system while providing enhanced security and easier maintenance.
Main features
High efficiency:
The module optimiser can handle up to 1300 W input power with 99.5% maximum efficiency and 99.0% weighted efficiency, minimising power conversion loss.
Module-level optimisation:
It allows the power of each solar module to be controlled individually, so that partial shading or different orientation does not affect the efficiency of the overall string.
Flexible system design:
The longer string design reduces BOS (Balance of System) costs. Up to 25 optimisers can be connected to one inverter.
Fire safety and maintenance:
It has a per-module quick reset function that reduces the output of each module to an immediate 1 V safety voltage in case of an emergency. It also allows the exact location of circuit faults to be pinpointed for rapid troubleshooting.
Compact and robust design:
The device measures 149 × 104 × 48.8 mm, weighs 1.0 kg, is IP68 protected, and can operate in temperatures from -40°C to +85°C.
