Fox ESS Titancore 5.015 MWh Battery System
The Fox ESS Titancore 5.015 MWh Battery System is a high-capacity, containerized battery energy storage system designed for large-scale energy applications. The system has a rated energy storage capacity of 5,015.9 kWh, a rated voltage of 1,331.2 V, and a rated charging and discharging power of 2,500 kW.
Based on a 0.5P charge and discharge rate, the system is designed for energy storage applications lasting approximately two hours. It is capable of delivering a peak charge or discharge power of up to 5,000 kW for short periods of time—up to 60 seconds—under the conditions specified in the power map.
The liquid-cooled and liquid-heated thermal management system helps maintain a consistent temperature in the battery cells. The temperature difference specified in the data sheet is up to 2 °C within a single module and up to 3 °C across the entire container. The IP55 enclosure, the IP67 high-voltage module, and the C4/C5 corrosion protection rating ensure a reliable design for industrial and outdoor applications.
